Itinerary

Day 1 Dar es Salaam to Mikumi

Leave Dar es Salaam and travel to Mikumi National Park. Enter for an afternoon game drive before checking into your lodge or camp.

Day 2 Full day in Mikumi

Explore the Mkata plains on morning and afternoon drives, concentrating on waterholes and current wildlife activity.

Day 3 Mikumi to Ruaha

Travel through central Tanzania towards Ruaha National Park. Arrive for a late-afternoon drive or settle into camp, depending on road conditions.

Day 4 Ruaha river and wildlife

Spend a full day exploring the Great Ruaha River corridor, rocky hills and baobab woodland with your driver-guide.

Day 5 A second full day in Ruaha

Use another full day to reach a different section of the park, following predator activity and seasonal wildlife concentrations.

Day 6 Final Ruaha safari and Iringa

Take an early game drive, then travel to Iringa or remain near the park according to the selected flight or road plan.

Day 7 Onward journey

Transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight or continue by road towards Dar es Salaam, with the endpoint and timing confirmed in the quotation.
