Focus on Tanzania’s two most celebrated wildlife areas in a fast-moving safari for travellers with limited time. Cross the Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti for big-cat and plains-game viewing, then finish with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arusha to the Serengeti

Leave Arusha early and travel through the Ngorongoro highlands towards Serengeti National Park. Game-drive after entering the park and continue to your camp or lodge.

Day 2 Full day in the Serengeti

Spend the day following current wildlife movement across the Serengeti with your driver-guide. Choose a picnic lunch in the field or return to camp between morning and afternoon drives, depending on location.

Day 3 Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Take a final Serengeti game drive, then travel east towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your highlands or crater-rim accommodation for the night.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha

Descend early into the crater for a guided wildlife drive and picnic lunch. Ascend in the afternoon and return to Arusha.
